Caroline nodded. Her family was certainly of the same school of thought; the Potters were the worst thing that had happened to the wizarding world ever.
Laughing, Caroline nodded in agreement. “We wouldn’t want to stop sleepovers and ice cream. Nope, can’t have that.”
“I really can’t,” Caroline admitted. “Do you things at Beauxbatons is more…elegant than Hogwarts? I bet it is.” Her brow furrowed as she thought about it. “I have no idea what it would be like to go there.” She had to admit, there was part of her who thought she might like it.
The awkward silence that followed really but Caroline ill at ease. “I…I didn’t mean that…like that,” she stammered, only making it more awkward. Now was not the time to admit the little crush she’d had on her friend!
