Albus walked downstairs with a cheer that only came around Christmas, being surrounded by family, people he loved. It was odd for everyone that was used to seeing him somber or serious.
He scoffed as he passed his Grandmother. "Children?" he muttered, and dodged her swipe at his head as he lifted a carrot from a floating dish. He took a seat next to Rose and opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by her growling stomach.
Albus blinked. "Er...Happy Christmas, Rosie," he finished, amused.
