"Uhhhh, no idea. Give me a clue," Hugo drawled, "And don't say 'red hair and freckles'. That's cheating." He snorted and twisted out of her light hold. "Lils, we are a little old for that, aren't we?" He wagged a finger at her and grinned. "Seen Lucy? She's pissed as a parrot. It would be hilarious if she weren't such a cow."
He glanced around the kitchen. The room, although full to bursting, lacked a few of the people Hugo was used to seeing stuffind their faces. "Percy's not here," he commented, "I was about to say he'd have a litter of kneazles if he saw Luce in that state, but he's not even here." Wrinkling his nose, he leaned over Freddie to lift a gingerbread man from the table. Breaking it in half, he offered some to Lily and ate the rest in one bite. "I'm so bloody bored. Want to go throw gnomes?"
