She looked up, and was a bit unnerved that he was looking at her for what seemed like ever. When Hugo admitted that he loved her, even though that could mean anything. But it meant something. Because if everything is positively shitty, Hugo still cared about her. And as for the time, lately, that he didn't,-well, she positively hated it.
She started to lean away, and was extremely suprised when he pulled her to him suddenly, and for a moment, she felt as if she couldn't breathe. It crossed her mind briefly, that even though she abused him quite regularly, he could totally kick her arse, she was actually stronger then her, and it was as if she didn't realize it until now.
Alex barely heard her name slip out of his mouth, even though she was watching it rather closely. She nodded absently as she looked him the eye, trying to get thoughts together, but they weren't processing. There was a tense moment where she didn't know what to say, and every nerve in her body was working in overtime, and finally, in her head she thought, fuck it. Alex leaned up and pressed her mouth to his, threading her hands in his hair.
