Who: Isabella Barbary, Albus Potter
Where/When: Room of Requirement, 1pm
Rating: PG?
Summary: Bella meets up with Albus because she has something to tell him.
Bella shook her head as she told herself to calm down a little bit and forced herself into a seat. That it was completely ridiculous for her to be this nervous over a few simple words. The last thing she wanted was for Albus to come in and see her so worked up. If the positions were reversed, and she came in and found him so visibly nervous, she would instantly jump to the conclusion that he was breaking up with her.
As she twisted a curl around her finger Bella sang softly to herself. Singing was something that usually calm her nerves whenever she was nervous. Although, today she was finding it did little to sooth her. Instead she found herself falling back into familiar thoughts. This was something she had thought about often the past few weeks. She had thought of several possibilities and plans, but here she was not following any of them. Originally she had been certain she was going to wait till the dance or even break to tell him how she felt, but she could not wait that long. She had reached the point she was ready to scream I love you at the top of her lungs.
What was the worse that could happen? What was she so afraid of? That he wouldn't love her back? Or maybe that confessing, out loud, her feelings would make things awkward between them? Bella was not sure. Her actions spoke louder than the words she had never spoken. They conveyed her true feelings quite clearly. Still there was something different about saying something out loud. It was as if it made it real, concrete. Once the words were spoken there was no going back and no denying their sentiment.
Isabella released her curl and bit down on her nail instead subconsciously. Even if she tried to hide her nerves it was still obvious. It was like reading an open book. So she waited and tried to keep her thoughts away from the negative. After all, she had not exactly figured out how she was going to tell him. It was not like she could just blurt it out as soon as he walked in. Bella had promised herself she was not going to do that. It was not going to be as smooth as it was when she asked him to the dance. That is what she told herself, any how it was possible that she would do just that when he arrived...
