She scoffed at him, "Yeah, pretty good. But I am a seeker," her quirky smile giving her true intentions away. Lily was growing more comfortable with him, and it was easier to joke, and he seemed to like it too. Well, at least as far as she could tell he did. Lily was almost surprised that he didn't offer to go any time, since he was being so agreeable, but it cast a new light on him and Lily liked it. He would need to toe a thin line between aggressive and passive to stay in her good graces, but so far he was doing a very good job.
"Oh?" Lily became suddenly more interested as he mentioned Bella. Lily wondered if she could talk Albus about it, but she still wasn't sure how Albus would like her spending so much time with Zachary, so she didn't mention it. "I know what you mean," she said, looking at Zach fondly. He was a little too sweet for her - not for her tastes, but she didn't deserve someone so sweet. After all, Lily would've definitely asked it of Isabelle if there had been an offer.
Lily frowned at his comment. "I'm sure someone would want you," she said calmly, taking his hand as they made their way to cash out. "I think you should travel first, anyway, before you're tied down or anything." The more he talked about traveling, the more she was interested in it for herself.
Placing her things on the counter, Lily plucked the polish from his hands and paid for it before he had the chance to fully object. She handed it back to him, and rather proud of herself, smiled back up at him, started for the door. "Honeydukes now? Before we start with the wandering?"
