Hugo grinned in response. "They were very tasty, Queenie, I shared them with Nick." He looked up and down the table for his mate but didn't see him. "He's not here or he'd thank you himself, I'm sure. But they were really lovely." He looked back at the little blonde Slytherin and felt a moment of regret at her trusting expression. If she wasn't usually so horrid to him he would have felt rather guilty, but as it was he was enjoying himself. And who knew, maybe she would see how much better it was to be friends. Though that seemed a little unlikely, given that he had hexed her into her current state.
"You look very pretty today, by the way, have I told you? Did you do something to your hair? Jez help with that?" Hugo buttered a piece of toast with care and handed it to Queenie. Then he topped up her pumpkin juice and grinned.
