ALL WEEK: Wizard Appreciation Week! Students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite wizard! Posters of famous Wizards have been put up around the school and there is an optional class on Saturday the 20th, hosted by Professor Binns, talking about these famous wizards. Any student that attends will gain extra House points! Students are also reminded that Witch Appreciation Week is in a few months and this week is not sexist!
September 15th; Normal day at Hogwarts!
September 16th; A). A potion explodes during a third-year class! Anyone who breathes in the fumes will have bouts of twitching and begin speaking in rhymes until they seek Madame Pomfrey out for her cure. B). Boxes of Weasley Wizard Wheezes joke toys find their way to Hogwarts (courtesy of George Weasley, of course!).Filch is on a warpath today! He will confiscate them and threaten students with detention (though, no one will really receive them).
September 17th; A). Safety Day! Aurors, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley included, will giving demonstrations in Defense Against the Dark Arts classes on the proper way to cast shield charms and defend yourself against magical attacks. B). BIRTHDAY: Piper Knightly! Be sure to wish her a happy birthday!
September 18th; At supper, a moment of silence is had for all of the deceased great Wizard's for Wizard Appreciation Week. McGonagall includes a speech about her personal favourite great Wizard, Albus Dumbledore.
September 19th; A calm day at Hogwarts!
September 20th; A). Yearbook photos are taken today. Students are encourages to be well-groomed. B). Professor Binns' extra class about Famous Wizards is today! Extra House points to those who attend.
September 21st; A). Headmistress McGonagall reminds third years and up to turn in their Hogsmeade permission slips by tomorrow night, if they wish to go to Hogsmeade next week.
