ALL WEEK: Witch Appreciation Week! Posters of all sorts of famous witches have gone up around the school. Professors encourage students to dress up as their favourite witch! Extra courses will held on Saturday! November 10th; A). During it's first day open in Hogsmeade, Fine Brooms and More is robbed in the middle of the night. Merwyn Fenwick, owner of the new store, is seen with a baseball bat and a wand, shouting at passerbys until a Ministry official comes to tell him to calm down. B). Still snowing! Be careful! November 11th; A). In spirit of the crazy snowstorm going on, afternoon classes at Hogwarts are cancelled! Professor Pucey starts up a game of Quidditch out in the snow on the Quidditch pitch for any and all who is interested. McGonagall breaks it up after a few hours, saying she didn't cancel classes so that everyone could get ill. B). ALL KNIGHT SUPPORTERS AND MEMBERS will recieve an anonymous letter asking them to please lie low, because since their stupidity last week, the Order and the Ministry are all very suspicious. C). One-Free-Drink night at the Three Broomsticks. And Rosmerta means it. ONE free drink! November 12th; Just lots of snow! Lots and lots! November 13th; A). Students 17 and over are permitted to go to a rally today in Diagon Alley, run by Lucy Weasley! Age will be checked before students leave the premises. B). While in Diagon Alley, the rallyers gain lots of support! But, a few people get hit by eggs and squash. November 14th; A). BIG NEWS! Famous Wizarding Opera singer, Gretchen-Sofia Kneen is pregnant! The newsreporters go wild, seeing as she refuses to talk about the father. Some people speculate it's a foreign wizard (from America, says one tabloid magazine though another claims he's from Japan), some think it's her brother-in-law's ("What a scandal!" says Witch Weekly), and another news magazine (The Quibbler) is saying, "Well, it's gotta be Stubby Boardman's..." B). At Hogwarts, some students sabotage some of the posters up for Witch Appreciation Week -- specifically ones of the Muggleborns. None of the portraits around Hogwarts are able to say who exactly did it, for it happened while they were asleep! The Head of House for each of Hogwarts houses take their students aside and let them know that vandalism is not appreciated and culprit will be punished if and when they find out who it was. C). A case of Dragon Pox is found in a patient in the Spell Damage ward at St. Mungos. Anyone in Ward 27 (The Herbert Finkle Ward) is under quarantine and cannot be visited nor can they leave that Ward. November 15th; A). Professor Pucey and Professor Sinistra host a Witch Appreciation extra course! They will talk about the role of witches over history. Extra house points will be given to those who show up. B). BIRTHDAY! Juliet Carpenter! C). Argus Filch's ancient cat, Mrs. Norris, has kittens today! Filch is furious, wondering who's cat messed around with his. He spends all day saying that no one can see the 6 new kittens, but finally gives in at the end of the evening because the kittens start annoying the crap out of him. He starts giving them away for free. First come, first serve! November 16th; Rather dull day for the most part. In Diagon Alley, some kids start some havoc by smashing a few windows with a stolen quaffle, which results in a lot of screaming and hexing from angry store owners. Other than that? Yeah, pretty boring!
