Characters: Rose and OPEN (whoever wants to deal with a very angry, possibly crying Rose? :P) When/Where: November 7th on the Astronomy Tower, sometime in the afternoon/evening. Rating: PG-13, because Rose has a potty mouth. Summary: After this, Rose is very mad and upset and finds a quiet place to rage in.
At first, Rose had thought she'd be better off ranting in a private entry in her journal. But, after staring at the page and only getting so far as crossing things out, she decided it wasn't worth it to try anymore. She had considered finding January, Albus, Bella or another friend to talk to, but she didn't want to bother them. Everyone had their own things to worry about and they didn't need Rose to add to that.
So she left in a flurry of curse words, wrapped in her black robes. She had probably alarmed any of the Ravenclaw's in the common room by her sudden, furious departure, but she didn't care in the slightest. Apologies could happen tomorrow, if they were necessary.
Rose was furious. So furious, she was to the point where she had clamped her mouth shut in fear of screaming. Her fists were clenched tightly at her sides, wanting very much to be put through a wall. She stomped through the school, ignoring anyone who called out to her. At first, she had no idea where to go. The library was no place for someone nearing hysterics to be. The Great Hall was about to be bombarded with those who were planning on eating supper shortly. The courtyard was probably still filled with students enjoying the cold, snowy weather. Her first thought was to go to the Owlery to, perhaps, send off another frantic letter to her mother, but logic talked her out of that. It had only been a few hours since her first letter to her mother and she would probably be just receiving it.
Before she knew what she was doing, her feet were leading her off toward the direction of the Astronomy Tower. It was usually a quiet place, unless Astronomy classes were going on or people were snogging, but neither should have been going on right then.
'Besides,' Rose thought bitterly. 'I could just threaten whoevers up here with detention. That'll scare them right off.'
Thankfully, there was no one there when she arrived.
At first, Rose stood there in the middle of the tower feeling numbly disoriented. Her anger levels rising higher and higher until she couldn't stand it anymore. Her right fist twitched momentarily before she sent it flying into the nearest piece of stone. She let out a shrill shriek of pain, but proceeded to punch the daylights out of the closest pillar. Two, three, four times, she hit it. She wasn't strong enough to do any damage to the pillar, but it definitely had done some damage to her. She held her now bleeding, limp hand close to her chest and collapsed onto the floor, her breathing quick and ragged. It had done nothing to sate her anger, she noticed, with disappointment.
"It's not fair," she choked out to the emptyness around her. She hadn't even noticed she was crying until she tried to speak outloud.
"I can't even fucking do anything to help," Rose muttered, pulling her knees to her chest.
