Serious Business! Characters: Rose & Scorpius. When/Where: November 5th, in the library sometime after this and this! Summary: Serious discussion?! Rating: PG...PG-13?
After Rose had jotted down a quick journal entry she tried to calm herself before heading to the library to meet Scorpius. She was feeling an array of things; mad, sad, curious, scared, and extremely pissed. She couldn't believe some of the things people could do, like subjecting your own child to the life of a Knight. It frightened her to think of Scorpius as one of those people who could murder someone without giving it a second thought, or cast unforgivable spells on people of lesser blood.
She didn't want him to become one of them. There had to be something she could do.
Rose thought about it the entire way to the library, trying her hardest to come up with plausible solutions. If Scorpius's father had already sold him out to the Knights, then it wasn't likely that they would forget about him if he just didn't show up to their meetings or anything. Rose was very certain that the Knights would go out of their way to make sure Scorpius joined their ranks. Her first thought was to hide Scorpius at her house, but she knew how much her father would hate the idea if she even asked. Her mother, though, would be on Rose's side, no doubt about it. Rose began thinking of things to say to her mother to convince her this was a good idea. Surely, Hermione wouldn't want Rose's boyfriend to be subjected to the life of murder and torture, right?
She entered the library, greeting the librarian politely. Rose ignored the irritated gaze Madame Pince gave her and headed towards a table in the furthest back corner of the library. She slumped into her chair, biting her lip, and thinking hard.
