Those Stars Burn Like Diamonds
Who: Isabella Barbary and Albus Potter Where/When: Astronomy Tower, 8pm Rating: PG Summary: Albus and Bella meet up in order to hang out. It is how Bella wanted to spend her birthday.
Bella climbed the stairs two at a time as she made her way to the top of the astronomy tower. It was a beautiful night outside and she could not imagine any where else she would want to be. Surely they were running out of warm fall days. Snow would be coming soon.
Bella had to admit that she was thrilled that Albus was free and wanted to hang out. There was no other way she wanted to spend her birthday. It was the perfect gift. She did not need anything else. Although she was intrigued as to what Al had for her. Whatever it was she was sure she would love it.
Once outside Bella laid out one of the blankets. She did not fancy the idea of sitting on the dirty stonework. Stargazing was comforting to her. Astronomy class had thought her enough about the constallations and positions of the planets. Tonight the stars burned like diamonds. It was a beautiful and serene night. Or that's what she thought as she sat down on the blanket.
Bella wrapped the spare blanket around her petite frame as she sat there on the blanket. Her eyes gazed up at the stars as her thoughts drifted. Bella thought of her parents, school and of course Al. Softly, she sighed and went back to waiting; that and trying to work the words bouncing around in her head into a song.
