At 5 o'clock this morning, Ministry officials were notified of a possible wizard-murdering out in Muggle London. Auror's hurried to the house of one Edna Von Tien; a seventy-six year old woman originally from Brussels. She was a former spokesperson for a cosmetic product line.
Miss Edna was found in her bed with very obvious indictions of having been tortured with the Cruciatus Curse and then finally finished off with the Killing Curse. Aurors spent a good chunk of the morning scowering her house for signs and evidence of who may have been the culprit here.
Unfortunately, not a single thing was found. No wands, no particles of hair or clothing, not even foot prints! Aurors are very concerned by this and have rightfully pointed the blame on the Knights of Walpurgis.
Harry Potter, Auror and He-Who-Killed-You-Know-Who, had this to say, "This is extremely worrysome because we have absolutely no indication as to who's done it. We can't even really blame anyone, not even those Knights, though I know everyone is quick to make those assumptions. For all we know, it could have been an accident, or a copy-cat, or someone with a grudge against her. Usually when there are multiple murders, you can see a pattern -- there is no pattern here."
Aurors seem truly concerned and are doing everything they can do figure out how to get these culprits behind bars in Azkaban.
