With a watermelon under his arm, Percy apparated to just outside of the gate at Shell Cottage, and paused before he entered. He stood still, closed his eyes and hugged the large fruit to his chest, taking in a great breath of the salt air. There was nothing he loved so much as the coastal weather; something about the salt and the sound of the breaking sea made him feel strong and more manly. He adored it here, and had already promised himself that after five years in the Ministry, he'd save up enough to get his own cottage. Whether it was close to here, or further down the coast, it did not matter much to Percy. To live by the ocean was a dream he would not give up.
He made his way down the small walk and knocked on the door politely. He'd picked an Irish knit sweater in blue to wear and tan trousers, and felt like he was far more dressed down than usual. A hand brushed through his red hair as he waited patiently to be allowed inside.
