Mandy nodded, sighing in relief. She was definitely more familiar with brewing coffee than most sort of teas; tea was for visiting with mum or when she was sick. For comfort and for taste, Mandy infinitely preferred coffee.
"I'll do that, thanks," she said. She heaved another sigh. "I'm glad you think so, because I don't think I can go on like this. He's obviously never had to deal with something like this, or he wouldn't have given such advice. I mean... God." She closed her eyes, hoping that the sudden tears would disappear. She was just so tired and in need of feeling normal once more. "You've put it perfectly, you know. I feel like that, like I've got a cloud over me, and a large stone hanging from my neck."
