Characters: Susan Bones and Seamus Finnigan Setting: Seamus' home Date: Monday Evening, February 20th Content/Rating: Medium ish? Family Discomfort Summary: Susan has dinner with the Finnigans Status: Incomplete
She had gotten dressed fifteen times that morning. She wasn't entirely sure what she was going to wear, but she had finally settled onto an outfit. She was still hellaciously uncomfortable with the whole prospect of it. Eating dinner with his family was like walking into a live mine field. It was just foolish. She should have begged off, but she wasn't a coward.
Seamus had promised her that if it got to be too much for her, that she could leave, so that was something at least. She loved his mother, she was a bright and caring woman, but she wasn't Susan's family. As much as Seamus insisted that she wasn't just some employee, that was all she knew how to handle. At the appropriate time, she waited for him to show up. Maybe if she locked the floo, he wouldn't come over? Come on, Susan, you're not a coward. It's just a dinner, not a firing squad.
