	He went over in 1914, before the US were involved. Signed up with the British Army. Couple years later, in 1916 he came home, unfit -- "Nervous and mental shock" you know? Anyway, he went back mid 1918. The US Army decided he was fit for service and sent him back. He wanted to go back. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It's not that surprising, you know. A lot of soldiers don't know who they are when they take off the uniform. How to be anything else.
