RP: Corrie and Gideon Date: 4 July, around 1 pm Characters: Corrie Pye and Gideon Summerby Location:Madame Bletchley's restaurant Private/Public: Private in terms of other people jumping in, at least Rating: TBD, but probably just PG Summary: Corrie and Gideon in the booth with the waffles! Catching up and hanging out.
Despite having had Super Secret Mascot Practice this morning, and more importantly, braving the other mascots' heckling and bad jokes to leave it early, Corrie was in an exuberantly good mood. It was a very recent change. For the past few days, ever since she got back from France, she'd felt terrible. She blamed the blackout, and Ava's whinging, and Asha's absence, among other things. But just now she felt fantastic, excited, full of energy - it just figured, since she wasn't at practice and didn't need it all.
Well, she'd devour her waffles with energy and enthusiasm, anyway. Just how food should be devoured!
For now, though, she was sitting in a booth and waiting for her brunch-eating partner to show. He wasn't really late, it was only just getting close to one. Corrie had unusually showed up twenty minutes early or so, and took the time to stretch out on one side of a booth, sip at a glass of water (with a straw, she always used straws with non-alcoholic drinks) and jot away at little notebook she was bent over. It was plain on the outside, just a green cover, but the inside was turned to a page titled:
SABOTAGE
There wasn't much there aside from margin-doodles, just a short list. It read:
Stalactites Prison bars Jumping/running/spinning?
Not a bad start, Corrie thought, but not good enough. And she wasn't sure she liked the last one, it might give too many opportunities that could be taken advantage of. She was not out to give anyone an easier time here.
