Re: Open!
"But I haven't done anything?" Lorcan protested, but he was still grinning. He liked his parents, why shouldn't everyone? But it didn't always work out that way. "My parents wrote the books. You should meet them. Or maybe I should write a book? But I guess that wouldn't be the same, since I'm not a magizoologist."
He shrugged. "Big animals do take up a lot of room," Lorcan admitted. "We didn't get to keep the winged horse. Not like the snowbird or the unbeheld peeper."
He took a big bite and then raised a finger while chewing. "Lots of favourites? But maybe I don't want to monopolize the conversation. I haven't gotten in enough questions of you! But I guess..." He hesitated, and took another bite, then commented, "This is good. Maybe it should be my favourite." He shook his head. "Really I don't think I have a favourite that's something that I'll always prefer over anything else. But something that I always enjoy is when you grill fish and vegetables, it's really good with flatbread."
"What's your favourite?" he asked, and took another big bite.
