rp: come with me, and nobody gets hurt Date: 25 June, Afternoon Characters: Ophelia Derrick, Scorpius Malfoy Location: Scorpius' Office, Various Complexes, Dinner Private/Public: Private Rating: TBA Summary: Ophelia kidnaps Scorpius, causing a scene, and then they go flat-hunting and to dinner. Woo!
Ophelia was nothing if not a girl of her word. She'd promised Scorpius Malfoy a heist, and he was more than definitely going to get one. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't entertained herself as she checked her reflection in the floor-length mirror on her bedroom door. She was dress all in black, her black hair pulled expertly into a loose ponytail hanging in waves over her shoulder. Even her new heels were all black and fashionably so. A small smirk played on her lips; if this wasn't the epitome of a fun adventure, she didn't know what was. Much more entertaining than boring office meetings, in any case.
She strode into Scorpius's offices confidently and didn't stop until she'd reached his secretary. Leaning forward on her hands, she tilted her head, looking calculatingly at the other woman. "Hello," she said, after a moment of silence.
The secretary's eyebrows rose in inquiry as she looked back at Ophelia with confusion. "Hello?," she drew out the last syllable and ended it with a questioning tone. "May I help you?"
Ophelia nodded. "I need to see Scorpius Malfoy. ..Please."
The secretary carefully moved a big black ledger in front of her and hooked her fingers around the cover to open it. "Do you have an appointment, Miss.."
Ophelia shook her head and answered the unspoken question first. "Derrick. Ms. Derrick. And, no, I do not have an appointment, but I need to see him. It's of the utmost importance. If I do not see him right now, I might die." She lifted one hand from the desk and moved it to her forehead melodramatically.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Derrick," the secretary began, "but he's in a meeting right now. Perhaps if you scheduled an appointment for a later.." her voice trailed off as Ophelia slammed both hands loudly onto the desk.
"No! I need to see him now! You don't understand, I've been watching him from my window for months now and I have to see him right now." She looked wildly around the office until her eyes fell onto the door to Scorpius'. "He's in there, isn't he?" She was speaking loudly enough for the blonde to hear her in his own office. She turned, dramatically posing with her back to the secretary, one hand pressed over her heart. "He is so close now. Just a few steps and I'd be right there where he is. With his perfect blonde tresses and piercing eyes, his rippling muscles and..." she visibly shuddered, inwardly grinning at how she did, indeed, sound like a crazed fan. "I'm going in there," she said resolutely.
Looking over her shoulder, she saw the secretary looking scared and reaching for the phone to call security. Ophelia covered her amusement and moved quickly for the door.
"Miss, you can't go in there! I'm calling security! Miss!"
Ophelia ignored the protests and wrenched open the door and marched straight toward Scorpius' desk and moved to perch upon it, crossing one leg over the top of the other. "There you are, lover. You look exactly as I've imagined in my dreams, as I've seen you from my persistent lurking in shadows." She swung her legs over the side and stood in front of him, leaning closer with a hand on either side of his chair. "You stole my coffee, Scorpius. That wasn't very nice." Her voice raised then. "You stole my coffee! Do you know how much my heart broke when you did that? I've idolized you for months and then you tore my heart out and stole my coffee. This travesty cannot go unpunished!"
The secretary was coming in now, followed my another man. She hooked an arm into Scorpius' and pulled him to his feet and in front of her, using him as a shield. "I'm taking him! I am! Don't come any closer! He has to replace my coffee! Don't come any closer and no one will get hurt!" And with that last word, and a look of pure desperation and insanity, she turned on her heel and Disapparated them away from the confines of his office to the alleyway just outside the building where they wouldn't be seen by any Muggle passersby.
And that was when she doubled over with laughter. Giving herself a moment to let the laughter subside, she finally straightened up and looked at her hostage. "Well, then. Your secretary hates me and there will probably be a search party looking for you within the hour. Where to first?"
