Lorcan let out his breath, almost a sigh, as Corrie moved away. If Corrie had looked, she would have seen a look of tenderness on his face as he looked at her, before that look turned to concentration as his attention shifted to the task of helping her downstairs.
He didn't say anything that wasn't to the point as they made their awkward way downstairs and out and around to the door to her room. That door opened as they approached, and Lorcan sighed again, this time in sheer relief.
"Lots of warm water, bandages, and a large tweezers," he said to Min as they entered.
