Now he didn't feel as awkward as before because she didn't seem to make a big deal about him missing her. He would've asked if she felt the same way, but preferred not to. He didn't want to strain their interaction in any way because things were going well. He really liked that they were going well. He wanted to meet up with her regularly if he could, but as she explained about work keeping her busy he knew it would be difficult.
Aidan nodded as he listened to her talk about work. She appeared to be really passionate about it and he admired that about her. He felt the same about his own line of work so he knew where she was coming from. There weren't many people who truly enjoyed their jobs, which was obvious from the way she was explaining the excitement in hers. "What places have you visited so far? I've done some traveling as well, but nothing extensive like you...I'm sure," he said with a smile. He took another gulp of his drink to stop himself from babbling or worse ask her to go on a trip with him.
