"Well, thank you," Asha said as Ken went to go get the food, appreciating the kind gesture on his part. She took the opportunity to turn things over in her mind until he returned.
Asha repeated her thanks once the food arrived but as Ken quickly picked up the conversation again, she, too, returned her thoughts to it. "That makes sense," she nodded, "considering that no one really knows what goes on there. But it still doesn't explain what is causing it - a spell or... don't suppose it's the affects of some magical artifact, do you?" When she asked the question, a variety of emotions played across her features - fear, fascination, and even a sort of longing, as though she would love to study such an object, despite being terrified of it.
