Blurred images flew passed her as she sprinted through the front hall, gasping sobs and tears trailing behind her. How could this happen? He had seemed so strong, so full of life only a month ago. He was her best friend, her confidant, the only person that had stood by her side when she was at her worst. How could he be gone without her even saying goodbye?
