Who: Andromeda Tonks and Molly Weasley What: Two best mates catching up Where: The Tonks' Cottage When: Monday afternoon Rating: Low Status: Started!
It say that Andromeda hadn’t seen Molly in quite some time was a grave understatement. She had nearly been on bed rest a month now, and she hadn’t seen Molly since before then. Since Arthur was injured and then rescued before Christmas, Molly seemed to have been keeping to her husband and her home, which was all very understandable in Andromeda’s opinion, but she missed her best mate as well. However, the void in her life was certainly filled by Ted’s presence in the home again. Andromeda was visibly healthier and happier with him home.
Molly’s owl had quite taken Andromeda off-guard, but it was a pleasant and welcomed surprise. In fact, Andromeda could not wait to see her best mate and catch up over a spot of tea and some crumpets. After a few correspondence, the two women had decided a spot of tea would be absolutely brilliant. Normally, Andromeda would have cleaned the cottage from head to toe by hand, but honestly, she was much too pregnant to do so. The clothes laying around had been magically hexed away, but nothing more had been done. Andromeda didn't even have enough energy to feel guilty about it. She was on bed rest, so even waddling down the stairs was a struggle now.
With time to spare, Andromeda slowly made her way from the bedroom to the living room, where she collapsed onto the couch simply exhausted. The next few weeks were going to be the hardest ones of her life. The woman was thirty-two weeks pregnant with twins now, and she really could pop at any moment (which she was secretly praying for). When the knock came at the door, Andromeda groaned. There was no way she was going to be able to get up by herself. Instead, she leaned over and plucked up her wand. "Come in," Andromeda called from where she was laying on the couch like a beached whale.. she felt like one too. It would be good to see Molly, that's for certain, even if she couldn't entertain properly.
