At the softening of his smile, Hannah leaned in and rested her face against his neck. Turning her body so she was comfortably tucked against him, though she nearly crawled into his lap instead. "It doesn't matter to me, I just want you to hold me and not let go," she whispered, her hands sliding around him until her fingers grasped the back of his Auror robes. It was only then she realized he had not even had a chance to change, and she opened her mouth to suggest he do so with some of the clothes kept here for when he did stay in the guest room or go out into the Muggle world with her, but need and fear kept her from speaking of anything that would send him out of reach.
Nodding stupidly at all the things she did know but didn't much feel comforted by now that her stifled emotions were surfacing, Hestia simply held tighter to Dominic. She would have to let go and turn to walk and right now that wasn't exactly an attractive option, but then neither was risking Hannah or Ernie hearing her in the corridor crying like a fool. She had held herself together this long, it seemed rather ridiculous to fall apart at the seams now that she was home and with all of them.
