Hestia, however, was all too aware of the newest 'journalist endeavour' of the Venom Quill and had been since Miles had started cursing like a madman and then alternated between that and furious scribbling. Not that she should have been playing with his journal on training time to begin with, but as long as her batch of trainees didn't misbehave on breaks and came back promptly, she didn't yell at them – much. And really, Miles had been doing enough yelling, which had been what brought her to the trainees lounge and then made her fetch her journal to see the mess.
That Dominic hadn't replied meant he hadn't seen it yet, no doubt, and she knew she'd rather tell him and keep him away from replying then have this idiot woman get any more attention. It wasn't even a real news article, there didn't need to be a statement from the Minister's office or the Auror department. But they would have to deal with it.
Leaving her training assistant in charge of training maneuvers, she quickly Flooed to the Ministry and made her way to Dominic's office. As it was a busy weekday, she doubted many had opened their own journals yet, given that she received no telling looks or anything to indicate it. Telling Dominic's secretary to hold his memos and appointments, she went into his office and closed the door firmly behind her, erecting the usual privacy wards.
"Hey, handsome," she murmured, but the words didn't fit the serious look in her eyes, even if she was smiling at him.
