Hestia sighed, dropping her head. She would have dropped it to her hands, but he was still holding those. With him, she had finally begun to learn, in a small way, when to curb her words to keep from hurting him, but she still hadn't become very good at making any lying covering it up look believable because he knew her so damn well.
"Fine." She blew out a gust of breath in a quick puff, ruffling the stray curls that fell around her face from her half-upswept hair. "I bought them after you gave me my ring," she said, giving the garment bag a hostile look as though it was entirely to blame for it.
