"Yes, I can see how you would need an escape," he said with a fond smile on his lips. He put a hand on her shoulder and gave it a squeeze. They both needed distraction, that was for sure. He looked down at her outfit and couldn't help the little smirk that formed.
"Why, darling, have you come to wage war?" He asked, eyeing up the daring red and blinding white. He moved his hands to rest just bellow her nape and turned his eyes on the building instead of the pretty girl who had once kept an eye on his daughter during family visits.
"I am looking for something to do, yes, but I am hardly bored, my dear. There is a Manor full of unknown, potentially hostile factions. Boredom? Ha!" He grinned down at her. Shielding the truth from her, because he wasn't sure how to tell her things were not well in their small 'camp'. Not that he thought he could hide it away forever.
"I was thinking of expanding into the States, and having one near the Manor would be smart. So I was thinking of making this location a multi-functional hub. A restaurant on the main floor, perhaps private dining and meeting rooms on the floors above. Then.. perhaps something a little more... fun for the basement."
