Re: THE ARCANE MUSEUM
Seraphina had moved her family in just a day or two before the flood of other families. She preferred to take things slow and steady and moving your family across the country took planning and execution of many details. Knowing that her father wouldn't want any loose ends, she'd named an interim CEO of the financial firm, closed up the Manhattan apartment, and arranged for everyone to travel together on the private jet. Thankfully her father had a file on his computer that held emergency plans in case anything ever happened and they were necessary. In her opinion, even without the Conclave telling the families to come to the manor, this was an emergency.
Something was going on and Seraphina intended to get to the bottom of it. There was no way that all the parents just up and disappeared without something causing it. A part of her hoped the hunters had something to do with the disappearances. While they could hurt their parents, Sera was pretty certain their parents could hold their own against the Leopold. The families didn't have very many enemies aside from the hunters and the last thing she wanted to even contemplate was the involvement of one of the other families. However, it was a possibility.
Sufficiently pleased with the work she'd done since arriving at the manor, she decided it was time to learn much more about the past. There had to be something everyone was missing about the kidnappings and now this. Sera wondered if these two incidents weren't somehow connected. First the future heads, along with the other kids, are kidnapped and now the heads and spouses are taken? Had the kids been chipped or something when they were taken and just couldn't remember it? There were far too many questions and far too little answers.
As Sera walked into the museum, she smiled to herself when she saw a friend inside. Maybe she wasn't the only one thinking the same things. "Marcus... fancy meeting you here." Walking over to her friend, she leaned in to give him a kiss on each cheek.
