Date: September 17th, 2015 Time: Afternoon Location: Azoth Manor then Seattle’s Children Hospital Characters: Tucker Fawkes and Marcus Fawkes Description: Tucker drags Marcus out to cheer up some children Status/Rating: Public, in progress, rating.
Many times, Tuck had been called out on his lineage, as a joke, because there was no way he could possibly be a Fawkes. Now would definitely be one of those times as he headed down, in full regalia of Robin the Boy Wonder. And he wasn’t just walking. Oh no. He was practically parading down the hallways, proud as a damn peacock, as he checked around for Marcus. Honestly, he had considered asking one of the other arcanists to perhaps help him construct a ‘real’ bat symbol, but that seemed a little much for even Tuck. Besides, he knew their fearless leader was bound to be training—and he already checked all of those usual locations—or in the library. Under his arm was tucked a very precious package, with a bat symbol on it.
Come hell or high water, he was dragging Marcus out of here for an afternoon of cheer. Because damn it cheer was needed. He was not going to let the troubles of everything swamp either of them. So, clearly, that meant it was time to dress up as heroes.
It wasn’t just for fun. Tuck had been in touch with Seattle’s Children Hospital. It was a practice that Tuck maintained no matter where he ended up. Get a costume (or use his old ones) and visit the children in costume as those heroes. He’d make the rounds from the Pediatric Intensive Care units to the various ‘floor’ units where children could use a real smile. If he was lucky, sometimes his brothers and sisters in the 501st would have toys that they could give out under the guise of ‘bad guys doing good’.
“All right Marcus.” He said as he swooped into the library, oblivious to any else in there. “Time to put on your big boy tights and suit up. Gotham needs you.”
