Date: September 17th, 2015 Time: Afternoon Location: Azoth Manor and then Ben and Jerry’s Characters: Trey Ward and Ally Ward Description: Trey figures both he and Ally could use a break from the manor Status/Rating: Private, in progress, PG-13 to be on the safe side
It had been almost a week since Aidan had caught him off guard in his room. That was a nightmare that Trey still had difficulty accepting. Aidan had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Trey hadn’t even seen or heard his brother. All he saw was a threat and one that had to be eliminated. Aidan had been lucky, though. Trey had awoken from the waking nightmare but not before hurting his brother. Something he was unable to truly process. How could things have gotten that bad that fast?
Truthfully, the thought to blame his brother, whom had walked into his room after unlocking his door, unannounced and without warning, never occurred to him. He had probably tipped his brother off by his texts. He knew things weren’t right but he wasn’t sure how to stop them. Everyone had their own problems. They didn’t have time to deal with this… and frankly, no one seemed to want to. But then, that was the Ward family. Everyone out for their own.
Even his trip to visit his younger cousin wasn’t without ulterior motives. Ally and her problems were a great way to hide away from his own. he was always trying to fix someone else’s problems rather than face, or even consider, his own. Sometimes hiding away like this worked as time resolved the issues themselves. But this… this would not be fixed until he took that first step forward. He’d continue to have night terrors… and his brother might never talk to him again.
“Ally,” He rapped on the door with his knuckles, “Ally, you there? Come on. I’m bored. Let’s go get some ice cream.”
