Although she had expected him to stay with her for a bit, she did not expect the Professional Level Hovering she experienced that night with Ozias. He didn't seem like the Mama Bear type, but injure a girl and he was all over it. He fluffed her pillows, got her hot chocolate or snacks or whatever she wanted. Her ankle hurt, but with all the love and care she got it was sort of secondary.
She'd eased off to sleep, feeling comforted by the fact that Oz was in the chair beside her. But she also did not expect to be woken up from another bout of awkward, foggy visions by being prodded in her ankle. The bad one, mind you. She still needed to get in touch with Cole and see if he could set it right without needing to go to an actual doctor. But Ozias had different plans, and she found herself wincing and having her eyes pop open before it was even very bright outside.
"What - Oz, what's why?" She said, groggily as she pushed her hair out of her face, glancing at him with just one eye open. "Is everything okay? What time is it?" She asked, looking around for her phone. But it was buried in the covers somewhere and she had zero energy to actually search for it. She didn't even really try and sit up. "Why did you poke me? That hurt."
