Zeke was the opposite of Breccan, he valued what Nikki brought to the table. He had a unique set of skills the same way Tabitha did, but he didn't appreciate the teasing, especially as his mood was foul enough as it was already. This guy, this night, it was supposed to make up for Kansas, but all it had done was drive him even further into a restless state, one that was dangerous as he'd eventually find some way to release all that pent up energy into the world and it definitely wouldn't be pretty.
"Merely stating facts," he remarked as he idly touched things, familiarising himself with his space while Nikki did his work and Breccan exchanged small talk. Breccan's strength was in the small talk, in the socialising, Zeke didn't see the point of it unless it served some sort of purpose. Though he was masterful with it at work, had to be, he had a professional face to keep up and a cover to maintain.
In his other hand he was idly turning his coin over his palm and idly passing it through his fingers, the metal of which was so well worn that it would have been difficult to tell which side was heads and which side was tails, but Zeke knew as did Breccan. "What he said," he commented with a tilt of his head towards Breccan. "Normally I can keep them alive for days, but this one? Not so much."
