"That's because whiskey is misguidedly considered a manly drink," Tabitha pointed out, leaning her arms on the counter as she watched Sully look in the freezer, the opened door revealing a pitifully small amount of ice. "People come here and shoot some things, feel manly and need to have a manly drink. I bet there'd be a revolt if you started stocking light beer instead."
She watched the wrinkle of his nose when he tried the smoothie and just nodded her agreement, it was pretty rough that one but not as bad as some of the flavour combinations she'd walked into when she first arrived. In a way it was a curiosity to her as to why he'd actually bought a nutribullet and she wondered if it was because he was finally learning that a guy couldn't exist on cereal alone.
That curiosity did get the better of her, though and she lifted her eyes from the smoothie to him again. "I have to ask, what prompted the purchase of the smoothie maker?"
