Cristiano shifted his weight before lowering himself to sit on the ground. It wasn’t often that he had free time at home to just be still, and taking time now to have these moments made him feel somewhat on edge. He glanced the way the dogs had gone as the other introduced them, his lips quirking upward at their names as he cut his glance back to him.
“And do they often get into mischief?” he asked. “They’re beautiful dogs. What I saw of them.”
Then again, Cristiano rarely thought poorly about any sort of animal, whether it was truly beautiful or not. He found them to be for the most part, uncomplicated, their needs basic. If you loved them and treated them with care, they often showed you the same. His experiences with those of his own species didn’t account for the same.
“Cristiano Giambrone,” he replied, giving the other’s hand a firm shake before dropping his own to land on the grass to thread his fingers through the blades.
At the other’s offer he gave a small nod, “Thanks. Ah.. are you from this area?” he asked, curious. Many of the new inhabitants of the manor had come from different locations, but with LJ having two dogs, if he were from the area he might know of possible shelters or vets offices. If not, he might have already done research on them that Cristiano could use.
