tragic dirk roxys
[ It is the day after Dirk has agreed to date her, and Roxy has invited him over. She's equal parts elated and nervous to see him after their botherlog. He's just living next door, so maybe they could have had that conversation in person. But Dirk was busy with all sorts of robot shit and Roxy wanted to be available to Jane and Jake so she supposes it's just as well that they IMed instead of talked-- she thinks she might have been too drunk to remember if she'd been physically with him. Just out of her nerves.

So in the same logic... she started drinking long before dinner. Maybe it's just as well that the dinner isn't light and should sober her up. She doesn't want to miss anything. The drink does embolden her, and she thinks of all the ways to sneak a kiss in as she cooks.

Pasta? Yeah, sure. Pasta. Lots of pasta. She cooks it just fine despite not being wildly talented in the kitchen and is putting the finishing touches on it when she hears the knock at her door. She shouts and has no idea if he can even really hear her: ]
