To prepare for the beginning of summer semester, Sigma Phi Epsilon house was brimming with energy and activity. A grill was set out in front of the house and food was already being prepared. Nearby was a small table of refreshments: non-alcoholic drinks, for the passing authorities. There were already people sitting outside and talking. But the real party was inside the house. A game of pool was going on in the recreation room, and the large-screen TV was blasting programs, movies, games... whatever the spectators sitting on the couches wanted to watch. In the kitchen was where the real drinks could be found: an entire counter full of whatever alcoholic beverage imaginable along with various snacks, free for the taking.
Soon, the entire house was filled with people. Those in nearby science labs or sports complex could probably hear the loud music blaring from the Sigma living room. Everyone had been invited at one point or other. Despite having the formal invitations lost somewhere in the president's room, the turnout was still pretty big. Even man faculty and staff members had heard about the party. And if they hadn't, well, by around 7 or 8 that night, they couldn't possibly miss the party. Toward nighttime, a few couples slipped away from the house and headed into the greenhouse only a small ways in front of the house for a more personal party of their own.
