She laughed and then nodded in agreement. There was still crazy in her, however, it was locked away deep with everything that she had used to be. “I guess you’re right,” she smiled with her forehead going askew. But when he replied so nonchalantly, it sort of made her frustrated. She knew that if she was him, she’d get angry for just ignoring him. However, it wasn’t like she had done it deliberately. Going through the traumatic event that she did, she cut herself from the world. She didn’t talk to her parents, and she didn’t even talk to her brother, just locked herself away in her room.
“I didn’t want to stop talking to you, you know,” she told him firmly with a stern look in her eyes. She wanted him to know that it wasn’t anything that he had done, and that none of it was his fault in any way. “I just…” faltering her words, she averted her gaze. He deserved some sort of explanation if he wanted it, but what was she supposed to say?
