“Alright,” James agreed, starting off at a pace to match Olivia’s. “I could go for… like…” His gaze tracked toward the sky as he contemplated, one hand on his stomach. “A big oatmeal cookie to go along with it. Just huge. Raisins – no, chocolate chips. Totally chocolate chips.” Glancing over now, he tossed his companion a playful wink. “Maybe I’ll share it with you.”
It might have been a little funny to walk all that way in his equestrian uniform, but if it was any concern at all, James didn’t show it. He slung his helmet over his shoulder, seemingly at a loss for what to do with it the entire time, as he continued to walk. It wouldn’t be too far, just out the gates then across the street, but past the tavern. He began to think on the shore then, and nodded emphatically. “I could go for that. I’ll drive, if you want. But I’m not sure who I’d invite. Did you have anyone in mind?” Half-squinting at her, he chuckled to himself.
