Alex never really kept track of birthdays. If they happened, then they happened. If someone happened to remind him before one, he may throw a party for them. But he rarely ever paid enough attention to plan ahead with gift buying.
He'd just opened his mouth to tell Selby that it was nice of her to buy a present for her fellow sister when she tugged him aside. "My, my," he said, a smile playing at his lips. "So eager to get at my pants already?" He'd barely noticed the mother until she mentioned it. Alex wasn't the type to take note of his surroundings unless there was something exciting or a hot girl. He simply assumed that if things were worth noting, they would come to him.
"Mommy Mall Walk?" He asked, raising a bored eyebrow. "Sounds dull."
