Link/Hena - Theme set A Title: Give To Me Forever Fandom: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Pairing: Link/Hena Theme set: A Rating: G - PG-13 (just to be safe) Warning[s]: Mild (I mean *very* mild mentionings of sex)
#01 - Slow Hena's instructions are still fresh in Link's mind; "Draw in the line slowly, or you'll scare away the fish."
#02 - Steady The canoe rocked to and fro as Link paddled it through the waters of the fishing pond alone and he wishes he had spent the extra eighty rupees to hire Hena as his guide.
#03 - Breathe Hena doesn't realize she is holding her breath when Link is close to her and she could quite easily reach out and touch his green tunic; and he smiles and laughs and doesn't notice that she is about to faint.
#04 - Relax (companion to 15) "Just relax and you will be fine," Link whispers to her; And it is easy for him to say, he is the great Chosen Hero of the Gods and was used to invitations to royal balls, while she was nothing more than a common lady who ran a fishing pond.
#05 - Friends They were fast friends and this made the transition into lovers slower, sweeter, and well worth it in Link's opinion.
#06 - Candle Hena laughed as Link blushed a bright red, embarrassed that the match had burned his finger while he was trying to light a candle.
#07 - Light
There were never any customers in the early mornings, when fishing was usually the best, so Hena was surprised to see the Hero as he stepped through the newly unlocked door.
#08 - Stars (companion to 48) Time often found them sitting on the dock, hands barely touching and trying to count the stars.
#09 - Sunrise
There were never any customers in the early mornings, when fishing was usually the best, so Hena was surprised to see the Hero as he stepped through the newly unlocked door.
#10 - Daylight As the first rays of daylight filtered through the window of Hena's cottage, she awoke and smiled at Link's sleeping face.
#11 - Stroll During their occasional strolls through the small village, Hena finds the Ordon provence to be calming and exciting and quaint; and she muses to herself that living here with Link might not be so bad.
#12 - Food Hena gladly shared some of her lunch with her regular customer; but he always surprised her with the shiniest, freshest apples she had ever had and she wondered how in the world did he know that she loved apples?
#13 - Rain Rain didn't stop the hero from making his usual stop at the fishing hole and Hena was glad as they sat together in front of the small fire he had built for them.
#14 - Emotions Hena had never let her emotions get the better of her; And yet as Link turned to leave, she found herself calling his name and tears streaming down her cheeks.
#15 - Dance (companion to 04) Link's hand was pressed into the small of her back and as he guided the inexperienced female dancer across the marble floor, she couldn't help but notice how right everything felt.
#16 - Lost Hena gazed up at him, lost in the seas of blue he called eyes and she felt her heart flutter wildly as he leaned closer to her with lips parted slightly.
#17 - Letter Hena smiles when Iza brings her an evenlope with her name written in the loopy letters of Link's sloppy handwriting and she has to wait until (nosey) Iza leaves so she can enjoy his tales of adventure and his words of his endearment.
#18 - Colors His eyes were blue and always looking off into the distance; Hena's eyes were of the same shade and searching for Link's presence.
#19 - Soul Link had become a part of her, a delicate piece of her soul that she cherished and adored and kept close to her heart.
#20 - Binds All of Hyrule's hopes for the future were bound and tied up inside of this one man who wore a green tunic and the weight of the future was on his shoulders; and only when he was with Hena did this burden on Link's shoulders lighten.
#21 - Links History scrolls were scattered about the floor of Hena's home and she and Link read together the recorded history of Hyrule's previous Chosen Heroes.
#22 - Music Link had stumbled upon the scene quite by accident; Hena sitting on the dock, her boots and socks removed, her slender legs dipped into the cold water and a bobber fishing rod in her hands and her singing softly.
#23 - Drinks Hena had never tried Ordonian milk before – having never been to the Ordon Providence - and as she took a quiet sip, she looked over at Link and felt her heart soar as he smiled when she told him she loved it.
#24 - Hot Hena felt the heat spread through her body, starting from the top of her and spreading down to the tips of her toes, as Link gently kissed his way down her torso.
#25 - Cold
The pond was frozen solid and there was no real reason for Link to be there; and yet there he was sharing in a snowball fight with the fishing hole's owner.
#26 - Conversation Link was always so secretive when it came to his past and Hena would often wish he would talk to her, share something that made him who he is and what drove and fed his courage; "Link, I --" She is cutoff and he speaks slowly, "When I was born..."
#27 - Blanket Hena slept peacefully in his house in Ordon and Link pulled the blanket up around her bare, slender shoulders.
#28 - Jewelry Hena never wore jewelry; and yet Coro and Iza never saw her without a silver necklace with a charm fashioned into the shape of a wolf given to her by the Hyrulian Hero.
#29 - Pride As Link entered the ballroom with Hena on his arm, his face beamed with pride and the other guests noted how regal the two looked.
#30 - Lace Link awakens the next morning to find his bed occupied and he smiles as her brown hair sweeps across her back.
#31 - Curious It was curiousity that drove Link to enter the fishing hole in the first place, but it was Hena that kept him coming back.
#32 - Windy Hena's brown curly hair had been let loose from her standard ponytail and Link smiles as he watches it be carried on the wind.
#33 - Parents Neither had parents to speak of and yet, Link felt his stomach knot up in nervousness as Iza and Coro studied him and Iza spoke up, "So what are your plans with our sister?"
#34 - Duty Hena never understood the duty that came with the title Chosen Hero; she only knew that it kept Link away from her.
#35 - Crying Link felt his heart break when he saw Hena (the first time in two years) and she cried for him.
#36 - Share Link always found Hena easy to talk to and confide in and he wondered why he had never bothered to open up to her before.
#37 - Keep Hena's letters were sweet, her words like honey and Link kept them close to his heart.
#38 - Close He shut the door behind him and marveled at the many nick-nacks around the room; but the most intriguing was the girl behind the counter with the entrancing blue eyes.
#39 - Simplicity All the couple had ever known was simplicity and easy (independent) living and found this new (married) life together rather difficult to adjust to.
#40 - Grave The world was seemed so empty when he was not there with her.
#41 - Tomorrow Iza nearly toppled over from the weight of Hena when she informed the youngest sibling that Link was returning tomorrow.
#42 - Run She ran to him and leapt into his arms; he twirled her around and wished that time would stand so he could live in this moment forever.
#43 - Flying Link could do anything and Hena blushed at his answer when she asked him if he could fly; "Yes. When I am with you."
#44 - Whisper "I love you, Hena..." Link whispers with blue eyes staring at a particuarly interesting knick in the floorboard.
#45 - Window During the early days of their friendship, Hena often found herself at the window and watching her new friend fish from the dock.
#46 - Apologies Hena mentally apologizes to Link as she stands at distance with a rather mean scowl on her face and watches him speak with his childhood friend Ilia (and she has to remind herself that they are friends and nothing more).
#47 - Bugs Link had his arm drawn back and his boomerang in hand as he aimed at the beehive hanging securely from the porch's roof; Hena stood by his side, her hands on her hips as she spoke, "They're gonna sting you if you're not careful."
#48 - Sleep (companion to 08) Link found that he very rarely left the fishing hole at a reasonable time; it was always well over into the night, when Hena should be sleeping and he should be traveling to his next destination.
#49 - End Link had never given much though to settling down with anyone and so he found strangely refreshing that whenever he came home, Hena was there waiting with a warm smile and comforting embrace.
#50 - Doors Hena was breathless as she felt Link press her against the door, kissing her neck gently; and the hanging fish decoration pressed into the flesh of her back (making rather unsightly marks in her flesh) before she politely asked if they could move to another part of the room.
