The darkness was demanding things again, reaching for places it had no right to any longer. There was light, gentle and soft, but he was tired. Tired of the killing, tired of the death, tired of people demanding things from him when he didn't know what he wanted.
"No. Go away and leave me be. You've done enough damage, Darkness. I've never understood emotions, none could explain anything beyond anger and hate. Why would a weapon need more than that? Yet when I asked for help from you since you seemed to care a bit about me, instead you cripple me."
He glanced at the light. "My hands are too stained with blood to accept your offer. I do not wish to stain you with my sins."
Gripping his scythe, he spread his wings and started walking through the sea of corpses.
