Kaelyn sighed and wondered just where Genna got this temper, from her lady aunt perhaps, if the term lady could be used, there was one with wolves blood for certain.
"You will stop that," she said calmly, "your lord father loves you very much, he is simply not given to shows of affection." Something that hurt her and if she had never been sure if William had the least bit of affection for her in herself she knew on a bone deep level he would always honour her for the children. She tried mostly unsucessfully to wipe tears from Genna and when she declared she hated wolves, it prompted a small smile, "child you are wolf now please stop growling."
This next turn was unexpected and Kaelyn flinched a little inside to see Genna hurt. "Arryn, Tallhart or Stark, you are my daughter and I love you." She tried to examine the scratch, which did not seem deep or infected thank the gods. "The old gods made you who you are and if they did not want you to be a child of a forest at birth you will never be one. You're a wolf with eagle blood, a daughter of Winterfell and a Princess and it would please the old gods more if you would act it heartling."
