Elia laughed delightedly. "Sometime you might ask him. It has been a long time since Lord Lannister graced Dorne with his presence... I was a child, I believe. With all his wandering, perhaps you could persuade him to wander our direction and bring you along."
It was good to have more light-hearted conversation, and reassuring that Toria was still prepared to be on good terms. Elia respected the younger lady, and moreover liked her. The idea that they might soon be on opposite sides was a sad one. And yet who knew where the Lannisters' loyalties truly lay? Toria's father was nothing if not opaque in his political ties.
She paused and her grin was pure mirth, "Of course I see through your scheme. I have a similar one, after all. I suppose we shall soon be rivals, sending forth singers to battle over who is the more gracious patroness." Elia shook her head with mock sorrow.
