Toria had taken care to be punctual. It was kind of Elia Martell to invite her, and Toria enjoyed the opportunity to socialize. Especially when the social event involved music. Though she'd had crushes on young men before, in Toria's mind, music was her true love. She hoped for a happy marriage one day, but she didn't have illusions of one that would be the stuff that songs and stories were made of. It would be arranged, and if she was lucky, she and her eventual husband would enjoy each other's company a great deal and fall in love at some point during the marriage.
Today, Toria's dress was simple - a green that matched her eyes with some golden thread woven on parts of the body and the sleeves. It was a social event with other noble ladies - not a ball or a royal feast. She smiled when Elia turned to face her as she entered.
"Thank you for the invitation, Princess Elia," she said pleasantly. "It was kind of you to include me."
She was worried about her little cousin, and it was nice to get away from that concern for an evening. She could go back to worrying for Gwyn's health the next morning.
