Genna pursed her lips. "He won't care," she announced as she hopped off the bed. "And I don't care either. Children of the forest eat honey and berries and venison and sometimes they ask for children and they keep them. And they sleep in blankets under the trees. There is warmth in winter." She announced this with perfect conviction. "I can wear clothes and sleep in a bed but it won't make me a girl. Not ever again." She glared at Toria. "Ever."
