Genna fell back with a shriek, her elbow thumping painfully on the floor. "I don't know how to steal your height, but I wish I did." Her arm hurt and she sniffled as tears gathered. She pushed herself up and scrambled to her feet.
She looked down at the torn mask and gathered the pieces. Jorry would whip them both. She all but snarled at Gwyn. "You stole absolutely everyone for months and months! Layin' there sick- they'd look after you and saw you every single day and they couldn't even remember where I was. Just like a baby, so that's what you are. I'm glad I got to grow and you didn't.
