Elia cringed at the summons. She'd purposely avoided seeing her brother since the hunting trip and had let herself hope she'd overestimated the reaction the entire escapade was going to elicit. One look at the guards' faces suggested she might have been a little overly optimistic.
The idea of running into the nearest passage flitted through her mind... She followed the guards' lead without complaint, but she walked with her head down and a slower tread than usual.
She entered her brother's chambers and didn't risk a look at him. "You summoned me, my prince?"
