Gwyn had actually fallen asleep shortly after her sister had gone…and not because she had been trying too hard either. She had simply laid down for a moment and out she’d been. It was probably for the best as it was. It had allowed her to patiently bide her time without getting too bored. And more importantly, though the little girl thought herself rather invincible now that she was done being sick she still grew tired easily. So all in all, when the child woke up hours after her sister had left and saw that it was dark out, she felt quite satisfied that this was the right time.
It took her only minutes then to change from the lovely dress her sister had complimented her on to the old white dress she had worn on her previous escapade in the tunnels. She then had find where she’d left her needles which took a minute or two. It was pulling the little scroll apart that had been the most difficult, but she’d gotten that ‘weapon’ easily enough and she was ready. She then pulled on her cloak and shoved her weapons into the large pockets before she felt herself ready.
Holding her breath excitedly she listened for any noise in the hallway…and had to run back to the window for a moment at the sounds that she was hearing. A war? Hm. Well she and Genna might see amazing things that night! She ran back to her door then and opened it slowly, relieved that no one appeared outside. It was fairly late judging from that alone, and Gwyn only hoped that their Septa wouldn’t be by to make any ‘surprise’ visits that night.
She inched over toward her sister’s door then and she rapped lightly, before she whispered loudly. “Genna!” She glanced about before giving another light knock. “Are you ready?” It was loud whispering, but there wasn’t anyone near that could have heard!
